POETRY 2001
The Snake
You are the Midwife,
to the birth,
Of my new Self.
You are the Elf.
Who cast me like a spell,
in that deep, enchanted well.
The fatal,
Attraction,
that brings me, to action!
Now I'm coming in...
Spin, spin, spin.
I'm shedding, my skin.
The Snake, is awake.
In the falling apart,
I hear my heart:
Quake,
quiver.
Break,
slither.
I rise, I writhe.
I rise and glisten.
I rise up wet,
Child, listen.
I'm not uncoiled yet,
but I"m here.
I'm supple, I WILL be free.
I'm new, I'm truly me.
It's true.
Now I'm awake.
I'm rising,
I am the Snake.

Sweet!
You know, honeychile...you'll have problems finding what you want later if you title a bunch of posts the same thing. Better to make them all in the 'Poems 2001' category, and then naming them all the names of the poems.
Then later you'll be able to make a custom list of all of them by category. Does that make sense?
